A Dream Rooted in the Soil of Gujarat
It started with a memory the rich, golden ghee that our grandmother used to prepare in a clay pot, slowly churned from the curd of our own cows. As India modernised, this tradition was quietly disappearing from our kitchens and our lives. In 2007, driven by this memory and a deep concern for public health, JD Fresh Foods was established in the heart of Gujarat with one singular mission: to bring back India's most sacred superfood in its most authentic form.

Our Gir Cows Live the Life They Deserve
Our Gir cows are not just animals they are family. At our farm, cows roam freely across lush pastures, grazing on natural grass and seasonal herbs. They are never given artificial hormones, antibiotics, or synthetic feed. The Gir breed, native to the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, is renowned worldwide for producing A2 beta-casein milk the most nutritious and easily digestible form of dairy known to modern science.

The Sacred Bilona Process
The Bilona method is the oldest and most respected technique for making ghee in India. It begins with fresh A2 milk, which is gently heated, cooled, & cultured with live probiotic dahi (curd) overnight. The curd is then hand-churned using a wooden churner called a bilona, in a counter-clockwise motion just as described in ancient texts. This separates the pure white butter (makhan), which is then slowly simmered at a low temperature to produce our golden ghee.

After not finding the authenticity of the pure ghee in his daily meal, he decided to build a brand that serve the purity and benefits of A2 Ghee. He oversees manufacturing operations and cow welfare that defines JD Fresh's identity.
