Benefits of JD Fresh A2 Ghee
From morning wellness rituals to festive cooking, here's how to get the most from every spoonful.
Gut healing, from the first spoon.
Butyric acid in A2 Ghee nourishes the gut lining, reduces inflammation and supports healthy digestion naturally, every single day.
A2 Ghee that works with your body, not against it.
Pure Bilona A2 Ghee works across four key areas: digestion, immunity, brain health and energy. Each spoon works to elevate your everyday wellness.
Brain health
Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin K2 in A2 Ghee support memory, focus and sharper cognition, for children and adults alike.
Immunity strength
Butyric acid and CLA in pure A2 Ghee reinforce your body's natural defence system — building resilience from the inside out.
Nourishes Skin & Hair
Provides deep nourishment from within, improving skin glow and texture. Also strengthens hair and reduces dryness.
A Village Story, Told in Every Spoonful
Deep in Gujarat's heartland, our Gir cows graze freely on open pastures. Every drop of ghee carries their story.
Free-Grazing Gir Cows 🐄
Our indigenous Gir cows roam open fields, eating natural grass and herbs, never caged, never injected with hormones. Happy cows give nourishing milk.
Morning Milk, Same Day Curd 🥛
Fresh A2 milk is collected every morning. It is warmed gently and natural curd starter (from the previous day) is added. Set overnight, no shortcuts.
Hand-Churned with Bilona Matki 🏺
The curd is churned the traditional way, a wooden churner spun by hand or using an ancient matki. This slow churning extracts white butter (makhan).
Slow-Cooked on Wood Fire 🔥
The makhan is slowly simmered on a wood fire, separating milk solids from pure golden ghee. The aroma fills the entire village, a smell of home.

The pure ghee is filtered through muslin cloth, cooled naturally, and packed in food-grade glass jars, ready for your family's table.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between A1 and A2 ghee?
A2 ghee is made from the milk of indigenous cows like Gir cows that naturally produce A2 beta-casein protein. Many people find A2 dairy easier to digest compared to dairy products derived from A1 protein-producing breeds. JD Fresh A2 Ghee is made exclusively from the milk of certified Gir cows.
Why is your ghee more expensive than market ghee?
JD Fresh A2 Ghee is made using the traditional Bilona method, which requires significantly more time and milk than industrial production. Approximately 30 litres of Gir cow milk are used to produce 1 kg of ghee. We also follow ethical farming practices, lab testing, and glass jar packaging, all of which contribute to the cost while ensuring superior quality.
How do I verify the purity of the ghee at home?
Pure Bilona ghee typically develops a natural grainy texture, has a rich aroma, and melts evenly when warmed. JD Fresh also conducts batch-wise laboratory testing for purity and quality. Lab reports can be shared upon request.
Can lactose-intolerant people consume this ghee?
Ghee contains very little lactose and milk solids compared to milk. Many lactose-intolerant individuals are able to consume pure ghee comfortably. However, if you have a severe dairy sensitivity or medical condition, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional before consumption.
What is the shelf life and how should I store it?
JD Fresh A2 Ghee has a shelf life of up to 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon and keep the lid tightly closed after use.
Do you ship across India? What is the delivery time?
Yes, we deliver across India. Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours and usually reach customers within 3–7 business days depending on the location.
What is your return and refund policy?
As ghee is a food product, returns are generally not accepted once the jar has been opened. However, if your order arrives damaged, leaked, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and our team will assist with a replacement or resolution.
How is JD Fresh A2 Ghee made?
Our ghee is prepared using the traditional Bilona process. Fresh Gir cow milk is converted into curd, hand-churned to obtain makhan (white butter), and then slowly simmered to produce pure golden A2 ghee. No chemicals, preservatives, or artificial ingredients are used.
What makes JD Fresh different from other A2 ghee brands?
JD Fresh uses milk exclusively from Gir cows, follows the traditional Bilona method, conducts rigorous lab testing, and packs every batch in reusable glass jars. From farm to jar, we maintain complete focus on purity, traceability, and authenticity.
Is your ghee suitable for children and senior citizens?
Yes. Pure A2 Bilona ghee has been a part of Indian diets for generations and can be enjoyed by people of all age groups as part of a balanced diet.
